2023 After Party

Things get a little slow here at the blog visitor-wise after Christmas, but I usually try to keep sharing for the full twelve days of Christmas. That means that there are a bunch of shares in the archives that you may not have seen yet. So as I've done a few times over the past few years (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), here's a long list of links to things I shared out after Christmas last year. All the download links should still be good, so if you're frustrated by the slow pace of the shares this season, this will keep you busy for a bit.

And that's where the season ended last year. I noticed a lot more comments on some of those than I remember, so maybe it's just the non-commenting visitors that tuned out after Christmas. I know the numbers that I can see on the backend show a serious decline in visitors, but I try to keep the spirit going for as long as possible. Anyhow, if you missed any of these after Christmas last year, now's your chance to stock up. All sales are final, no returns!

  1. It's always a good idea to double check my inventory on the Ernie folder/drive. -Organ

  2. Yes, I've noticed that you're slacking off this year, with only 45 records each day.

  3. Hi Ernie,
Honestly, I cannot understand people. Well, we are all different I know.
Anyway, it is like those that put up a Christmas tree Christmas Eve, and then take it down the day after Christmas.
There are always gems you offer early on in the season and towards the end. Always wonders to be hold.
Bless you for all your work.
Oh, I was checking your Blog weeks in advance in case you snuck in an early share. Well, you can never know can you.
I for one, stay until the very end.
Besides, my Christmas began before Halloween. Go figure...

  4. Thanks so much for the Country 45s. Those are not easy to find. Keep 'em comin'!

    1. Wrong post, but thanks! I don't think I have another all-country post this season, but there are plenty of country songs sprinkled throughout the shares. I think the country market in the past has embraced Christmas more than the pop market, especially in the 60's and 70's. But you're correct, it's still hard to find. Gotta have the right record store who cares about such stuff and saves it in a special box for the holidays.

  5. I love your site Ernie, but do you no longer share out-of-print Christmas LP's? I find the collections of 45's harder to listen to when every artist is different. It feels a bit choppy to me. I miss the days when you shared the full length 33 1/3 RPM vinyl LP records. Especially from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Anyway, I still appreciate the free shares!

    1. I share what I enjoy, and this year that's singles. If you like the albums, there are plenty of them in the archives to last a few seasons until I can get back to them. I really enjoy the singles and this is a project I've wanted to do for a long time but only this year was I able to muster the time & energy it took to do it. Sorry if it's not your cup of tea.

    2. Please don't apologize, Ernie. As I said, what you do for all of us is still MUCH appreciated. I'll take your advise and re-visit the archives. All the best to you & yours!
