Audiographed Part 6

In the interest of sharing a little bit of everything with you this evening, here's an album featuring the Christmas saxophone. I don't think we've ever featured the sax around here before, so this certainly comes under the heading of different. This is Reggie LaFaye-Merry Christmas From Reggie (Rainbow R-2798-LPS, Stereo). Short but sweet. Tracks from this one have played a couple times while listening to the many songs I recorded this year, and I stopped whatever I was doing because I wanted to see who it was. A Little Of Everything

I keep looking for stuff to re-share that I've forgotten about, and stumbled across this nice little record I shared in 2012.  It's got a lot of organ on it, but there is also an accordion, harp, flute, sax, cello, calliope and I think a tuned kitchen sink if my ears don't deceive me.  How can you go wrong with all that?!?  So I figured after six years, it was time to bring this one back.  And I was able to re-encode it to a higher bitrate, too, for closer listening.  As I said the first time I shared this out, where else are you going to find music like this?  (And would you want to?)  This is Sharon Parker-Songs Of Christmas (Rev. Donald L. Parker 17813/17814 (Baxter, West Virginia), Mono, 1966).

Any Accordion

At first glance, this is not the sort of Christmas release that you might find interesting.I don't think a lot of people would give it a second glance if they spotted it in a stack of records.  But I'm not like a lot of people, I have to take a closer look.  Flipping it over, I saw a woman with an accordion, and into the pile of Christmas To Share it went!  If you're a fan of accordion music, mixed with a little organ, calliope, harp, sax, cello, flute, even violin, then I'm sure you'll dig this.  And really, where else are you going to get music like this other than Ernie (Not Bert)?  So show a little love and download Sharon Parker-Songs Of Christmas (Rev. Christmas Sax
