Run!

I spotted this little bit of surreal art on a telephone pole on the campus of Flagler College in St. Augustine a few weeks ago. I almost walked into it by accident. Good thing I wasn't there at night.

North To Ohio

Just to let everybody know, I'll be up in Ohio next week. I'm working out of our Ohio shop most of the time, but next Friday I'm supposed to shoot pictures at a charity golf tournament. It's being held in remembrance of the husband of a friend of mine. (He actually gave me the record I showed you here several years ago.) You can read more about it at their website here. Any of my Ohio blogger friends (you know who you are...) are welcome to come on out and say hi. I think I'll be stationed at the 10th hole, shooting foursomes. Hopefully I'll have some time to sneak out and take some pictures of the local color while I'm there as well. And if I'm really lucky, I'll have time to share some of those pictures. You never know...

Boom!

Yes, it's been a while since my last post. I've not really been in the mood to post anything. But that doesn't mean I haven't taken any pictures. For instance, the shot above was taken during my last trip to Daytona, when I travelled north to St. Augustine for a few hours. I happened to visit Castillo de San Marcos at just the right time. They shoot off the cannons once in a while, and I was in the right spot at the right time. Right after they shot her off, a kid on a boat out in the water behind me yells "I'm hit!" and falls into the water. He got a big laugh from all the people who could hear him.
