Another Full Saturday-Part 3
Keeping on the country side of things, and many of the singles I have to share this year are country-leaning, here's a nice pair of track from one Ronnie Rinard. I don't know much about him, but the sleeve says they are great Christmas songs, and we'll take it at it's word. This is Ronnie Rinard Sings Two Great Christmas Songs (Camaro 7" 45 RPM 45-3424, Mono, 1970).
Ronnie's got that Elvis look. He's even from Memphis (or the record is).
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear these- Thanks Ernie! Buster you are right with Elvis comment: His 2020 obituary is fascinating

ReplyDeleteHi Ernie I'm featuring Cameo on anorakrockabilly45rpm But I'm missing
ReplyDeleteCamaro (TN) 45 - 3487 : Ronnie Rinard - Christmas Tree Shine So Bright (1972)
Camaro (TN) 45 - 3487 : Ronnie Rinard - Christmas Boy (1972)
any chance Dean
Nah, this is all I've got. Wish I had more.
DeleteHi Ernie, glad I took a chance and downloaded this one. But, I guess everyone was paid by the second for their recording time. Unless, they had to catch the bus to go somewhere. These versions are really short on length.
ReplyDeleteOh, we have 2 minutes of airtime left, what shall we do? Hey, throw on that Ronnie Rinard single. That will fill up those 2 extra minutes...
Better to be just the right length than the wrong length. ;)
