Christmas On The Radio-Part 3

OK, I gave you a couple of Christmas-themed radio shows devoted to beloved Christmas albums, now it's time for something a little bit different. If you ever listened to the radio, you might have noticed commercials from your favorite stores that seem a bit generic. They don't use a familiar theme song, or they might not actually mention the name of the business in the lyrics. In many cases, those radio spots use what they call production music. It's a sort of royalty-free thing that you may be most familiar with these days from YouTube videos that haven't paid for better music. Anyhow, radio stations used to be able to buy and use these record with generic music as they saw fit. I found a few of them over the past year, some of them at my usual thrift store haunts, some from Discogs, and now I want to share them with you. Maybe there's an interesting bit here that you can drop into your Christmas mixtape, or maybe something that reminds you of listening to the radio in decades past. Hope you enjoy these. Here's the first up.This is New TTS 3420 (William B. Tanner 3420, Stereo).

    1. They sold so much music over the years, I don't know that you could ever hope to fill all the holes. But good luck!
