Beegie's Back
I don't have a whole lot of remasters to share this year, because I really tried to concentrate on finding new stuff for you, but there are a few in the vault that I want to share with you. This one is a stereo version of something I first brought to you in 2019. I think the stereo makes it a more interesting listen, though it's still just an organ and chime record. In fact, it's titled Organ & Chimes, how generic is that? And wouldn't you know it, this is the only record credited to that name at Discogs. But if you follow the links, they claim this is actually an artist name of Beegie Adair who has quite a discography out there (though all much later than this record). So maybe this release does have a little artistic merit after all. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. This is Beegie Long-Organ & Chimes (MGM SE-4408, Stereo, 1966).
