Another Full Saturday-Part 23

Another hour goes by, another Christmas song pops up, or two songs, as the case may be. This may be the only punny title I have for you all season, so you'd better enjoy it. This is Willie Rainford with There'll Be Rain, Dear This Christmas b/w Christmas Shoes (Candy 7" 45 RPM C 1035, Stereo, 1972). And no, it's not *that* Christmas Shoes. And notice how his name changes from Rainford on one side to Rainsford on the other. Now that's quality control!

  1. Why is it that if Christmas shoes are in a song, it's automatically sad or about poverty? I just find it funny lol

    1. Good question. I'm thinking it ties into getting clothes for Christmas. It's not something you want, but it's something you need. Or I'm over-analyzing... Thanks for the comment!
