Return To Boy's Town

Here's another entry in the complete Boy's Town collection. Some years ago I shared a record with you called Christmas At Boys Town. And before that, my buddy Buster shared out a different record at his blog called Christmas Music By Father Flanagan's Boys Town Choir. That one was not the same as the one I had shared, and this new one I have for you tonight is different from either of those. This one also features popular crooner Gordon MacRae, who may have been a little past his peak popularity at this point, but he still sounds good. So if you really need more singing boys, this is the record for you! Have a listen to The Boys Town Choir-Frank D. Szynskie, Director-Soloist Gordon MacRae-Christmas At Boys Town (Sandcastle SCR 1043, Stereo, 1978). There seems to be quite a bit of disagreement as to whether or not there is an apostrophe in 'Boys'. I think there should be, but they don't.

1. He Is Born
2. Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming
3. The First Nowell
4. Away In The Manger
5. Silent Night
6. O Holy Night
7. Hodie Christus Natus Est
8. Greensleeves (What Child Is This)
9. Sleep Of The Child Jesus
10. Adeste Fidelis
11. White Christmas

    2. That's two more than I usually get on the singles blog (the third one being you). Oh, and Rich down below does come by, too!

    3. I'm sure people visit, they just don't leave comments like they do at the bigger blog. Why, I have no idea... :(
