Put A Sock In It

One last post before I shut down the machine for the night. This record comes from the Great White North, but I'm not sure if it was exclusive to them or not. It's a bit more country than you might be expecting based on the title, but it's still not a bad track. This is Bud Logan with Sock It To Me Santa b/w (Old Mr. Winter) Here You Come Again (RCA Victor (Canada) 7" 45 RPM 47-9678, Mono, 1966).

    I've always loved this single (both sides). And, no, it wasn't exclusive to Canada. I have the American 45. Bud was an American artist--formerly a member of Jim Reeves band. He went on to produce others in the Country field (notably T. Graham Brown).
