Around The Clock Saturday-Part 3
Still the middle of the night, so how about Tommy Page-Christmas Without You (Sire 7" 45 RPM 7-27645, Stereo, 1988). That should be some good late-night listening.

A very, moody, and sad forgotten Christmas Pop tune from the '80's. I didn't quite know what to think of it when I listened to it a few days ago, yet today, I am slowly starting to like it. Very understated and subdued. It was proabably too much of a downer to be a huge seasonal hit along the lines of "Last Christmas" and "Do They Know It's Christmas." I do have to agree it does have a great late-night vibe to it. Its sad, yet also relaxing at the same time. Very unique tune. Thanks for bringing this tune to my attention.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect description of what I'd expect from Sire at the time. :)
