Saturday Filler-Part 1

Here it is, Saturday once more, and I'm going to try to post all day for you. We're starting today with a single pulled from an album I shared with you a season or two ago, but I think it has unique versions. Grab both versions so you can compare and contrast. Please report back with any findings. This is Larry Farrow-Let This Be A Merry Christmas b/w You Know It's Christmas (Capitol 7" 45 RPM 4808, Stereo, 1979). Enjoy!

  1. Thanks for finding this Ernie! One of my favorite rare albums you shared over the years was the Larry Farrow. The only complaint of that album was some songs were extended disco mixes, clocking in at 6-9 minutes. This single helps with that, as the A side is trimmed down from nearly 7min on the album to under 5 minutes! Excellent song. The B side is the same, as far as I can tell.

    1. I was just happy to find that both sides weren't pulled straight for the LP. Thanks for the note!
