Gospel Week-Part 6

Now that I'm done with the Merrill Womach, here's an artist that has a much smaller discography. In fact, I'm not aware of him having any discography at all other than this one record. And the best part of this record isn't the singer, it's the background singers. Well, some of them. One of the background singers sounds like he doesn't belong on stage with the others, but the rest of them are quite good. I'm sure everyone on this record tried really hard though, and when was the last time I recorded an album, so who am I to talk. This is LeRoy Jenkins With The Southerners Quartet-My Savior Is Born... (LeRoy Jenkins Evangelistic Association, Inc. LP 1001, Mono). This may be a local piece since it has a Tampa address on it, but you can never be sure.

1. Silent Night
2. Joy To The World
3. O, Little Town Of Bethlehem
4. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
5. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
6. We Three Kings Of The Orient Are
7. O, Come All Ye Faithful
8. White Christmas
9. The First Noel
10. Away In A Manger
