From Motorola

Tonight's new share is a Christmas musical that never really made it big.  It makes a nice little audio play with some sweet songs and interesting story.  It comes in an oversized jacket that usually turns up horribly bent or chopped into smaller LP size, but I found a reasonably intact copy and scanned the whole thing for you.  There's even a book included, which I scanned front and back for you, but not the actual story pages inside. (I have to leave something for you to find, right?) Anyhow, this is Walter Slezak-Narrator, Don Elliott-Music Director, With Anita Bryant-Fenwick (Motorola FLP-621, Stereo, 1968).  I didn't cut it up into tracks, so all you get is side 1 and side 2.  Enjoy!

  1. I offered this for download at one point. I scanned the booklet into a PDF. Should I offer it or do you want to make people hunt it down...?

  3. Thanks King! Was yours cut into tracks? When I ripped it, I was too tired/lazy to do it as anything more than full sides.

  4. Ernie - This is most interesting. Was it a promo of some type? Don Elliott (assuming it's the same musician) was a singer and multi-instrumentalist. I have many of his records.

  5. I think it was a giveaway, maybe with a tv purchase, or a phonograph. There are quite a few of them around, so it had to be fairly popular. Didn't Don Elliott do a lot of advertising work? Maybe with Sasha Burland? That's where I've heard the name. And The Nutty Squirrels. :)

  6. Thank you very much! I love this record.
Ernie: I don't know if it was Brad's rip, but I believe it was separated only by side, but not by tracks, if it was Brad's rip that I had years ago before I lost it in a crash.
