Elvis Jr

From the not-so-dark recesses of 2011, this is a somewhat unusual record featuring Christmas music from an Elvis tribute artist. I know that few things in the world are as perfect as the first side of that first Elvis Christmas album, but sometimes that's not enough and you need a little something else to tide you over during the Christmas season.  This may or may not fill that hole in your life.  But if you want to give it a chance, this is Christmas Blessings From Elvis Jr (Son Records BS 003, Stereo, 1986). I re-encoded it for you, so this is the first time it's been up in 320.  Grab it while it lasts.

1. Silent Night (With Robbie Le Moine)
2. Silver Bells
3. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
4. Blue Christmas
5. Jingle Bells
6. Rudolph The Red Nose (SIC) Reindeer
7. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
8. Frosty The Snowman
9. Winter Wonderland
10. Amazing Grace
11. Peace In The Valley
12. White Christmas

  1. That was a very nice Christmas album. I especially enjoyed "O Little Town Of Bethlehem" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town".

  2. Elvis, Jr. Well then. I'll get to spin this at work today while we have our Christmas lunch for our little town's employees. Let you know how it goes over.

  3. For me, I get enough Elvis as soon as he starts up with the "Ba-Ba-Ba-Blue Christmas" routine, without descending into the depths of the Elvis impersonator genre. But I can tell that you fine gents do not agree.

  4. I don't mind this one, and do remember it from before. Thanks for the new encode.
