Christmas In August

From the archives of 2012, this is a vocal collection from that classic RCA Living Stereo era that doesn't see much daylight these days.  Possibly because it was on the Camben budget side of things, or possibly because to my ears the sound is a bit muddy.  Not sure why that is, but it seemed to be that way down in the grooves.  Still worth a listen to this newly encoded version for 2018.  This is The Augustana Choir-Henry Veld, Director-Christmas Music By The Augustana Choir (RCA Camden CAS-638, Stereo, 1960).

1. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
2. What Child Is This? (Greensleeves)
3. Silent Night
4. Angels We Have Heard On High
5. The Fairest Of Roses
6. Away In A Manger
7. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
8. In The Bleak Midwinter
9. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
10. Come To The Manger
11. The Coventry Carol
12. What Can This Mean
13. The Blessed Birth
14. How Brightly Beams The Morning Star
15. Selection From A Ceremony Of Carols
