Bing's Back

Yet another record produced by the armed forces for you, this time the US Army, and featuring a record of Bing Crosby!  Bing walks you through a nice selection of his Christmas songs, mostly from his last Christmas record, A Time To Be Jolly.  But you've already got the music.  What you want to hear is the Voice of Christmas talking to you, telling you stories, making you feel all Christmassy inside.  The other record in this somewhat rare 2xLP set is music by the US Army Band, which turns out to be a repeat of a record I shared earlier in the season with you.  You remember, the one with the ugly generic cover.  I shared this with you for the first time in 2011 and I'm bringing it back tonight.  This is A Bing Crosby Christmas For Today's Army/The Sounds Of Christmas With The United States Army Band And Soldiers Chorus (US Army Recruiter 2xLP, Stereo, 1973).
