Even Better In Stereo

Santa came to see me earlier this year, and he brought a couple of presents. One of them was this stereo copy of an album I've loved and shared for a long time here at the blog. If this isn't already a favorite of yours, I think it soon will be. As good as the mono version has been all these years, the stereo version is just that much better! The Jimmy Joyce Singers were one of those groups who rarely appeared on their own (although they somehow released two different Christmas albums), but they often appeared as backup on other artists records. And the orchestra they've chosen to work with here belongs to none other than the great Billy May. There are even a couple of instrumentals on here that are all Billy May. So be certain you download this, it's probably one of the best shares I'm going to give you this year. Here's The Jimmy Joyce Singers With Orchestra Conducted By Billy May-A Christmas To Remember (Warner Bros WS 1237, Vitaphonic Stereo, 1958).

1. We Wish You A Merry Christmas
2. The Twelve Days Of Christmas
3. An Old Fashioned Christmas
4. Jingle Bells Around The World
5. Christmas Hop
6. Medley Of Foreign Carols
7. Round About Christmas
8. Santa Claus Sleigh Ride
9. The Story Of Christmas
10. Christmas Dinner Country Style
11. Reprise Medley
12. Medley Of English Carols

  1. thank you for all the great Christmas music you've been providing. I certainly enjoy what you've been sharing. Unfortunately, I'm not able to find these in Rapidshare anymore. The link takes me to an upload page and I can't seem to find the download area to get these albums.
I'm even finding that on the 2010 albums you have. Maybe something has changed recently that I'm not aware of. Please help if you can. thank you again

  2. Some of my old shares used lix.in as a sort of download buffer. The new ones don't have that. This particular LP is due for resharing soon, so you should be able to get it then, from your choice of download sites, just be patient.
