KE-Note Singers

Here is another interesting share that had escaped my memory.  This was shared back in 2006, and then it sort of faded into the dark recesses of Christmas past.  Part of that is probably due to the fact that I've never seen another copy in all my travels.  Surely there are others out there, but this is the only one I've ever seen.  And now you can be one of the few people on planet Earth who have ever heard it! This is The KE-Notes-Merry Christmas With The KE-Notes (Olmstead Sound Studios Green Vinyl OSS-2267, Mono, 1959). By the way, the KE in the name is from the advertising agency all the singers worked for, Kenyon & Eckhardt. This had to be one of the first albums that I scanned the label from the vinyl.  I'm sure I just did that to show off the green vinyl, but it was a sign of OCD to come!

  1. Kenyon & Eckhardt was a large ad agency that was (I think) Ford's agency at the time. Olmstead Sound Studios was in NY.
