Re-Cole
Another blast from the past, this time in a complete remastering from a different record, not just a re-encode like you've seen so many times this season. I found a 10" LP version of this old share from 2006 that I recorded and decided I liked quite a bit more than I did then. Maybe my copy was bad, or dirty or something, maybe my rip left quite a bit to be desired, I don't know. But things seem to have come out much better this time, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. This is another one of those early 10" records on Capitol where the opening is on the wrong sides. Messes me up every time. For your New Year's Day, this is Buddy Cole At The Pipe Organ With Chimes-The Organ Plays At Christmas (Capitol 10" 33 RPM H9002, Mono, 1949).

Thank you.
ReplyDeleteErnie, I cannot sleep. So I am raiding your shares. In my 2019 folder for you, my first year at your blog, I have only 46 shares.
ReplyDelete(One day I need to add all these shares together in one massive folder and delete all but one of each. What is holding me back, if I did this, I have no idea then which is the most current share?)
That being said, I have no idea why I did not download this one. I can only guess, I was not listening to the OTR show with, Crosby, Clooney, and Cole. Alas, I never finished listening to all those avaliable shows anyway.
Anyway, I am building up a new collection folder of to listen too Christmas albums.
Technically, this is a 2018 share. The season starts at Thanksgiving, then continues on into the next year for a few days. So that may be where you saved stuff. It's all so old that I don't remember what I did when. Good luck in your collecting. I still have all of my shares in folders based on the date when I shared it.
