Harmonicas For Christmas

About the closest the original Harmonicats came to recording a Christmas album was this collection of doll-themed songs in 1959.  And even this isn't strictly the original group. After they'd been around for so long, different members went different directions, but Jerry Murad seemed to be the heart and soul of the original band, and this is his group of 'Cats from 1959.  At least one former member did actually record a Christmas album under the Harmonicat's name, Don Les, but the less said about that, the better.  It may not be strictly Christmas, but I like it! Originally shared out around these parts in 2011, and re-encoded at full bitrate for you in 2018, this is Jerry Murad's Electronic Harmonicats-Dolls, Dolls, Dolls (Mercury SR60008, Stereo, 1959).  Pretty sure there's another cover for this one out there, but I don't have it handy at the moment to scan and share.  I think it's a woman playing with some dolls.

1. Waltzing Doll (Poupee Valsante)
2. The Toy Trumpet
3. Spanish Doll (Senorita Munequita)
4. Paper Doll
5. March Of The Toys
6. Wedding Of The Painted Doll
7. Oh! You Beautiful Doll
8. Dance Of The Dutch Doll
9. Parade Of The Wooden Soldiers
10. Pink Dresden Doll
11. The Wooden Soldier & The China Doll
12. Doll Dance
