Mary Christmas

I just discovered another nun singing from 2012 that I thought was an appropriate way to start your Christmas Day.  I hope you have a very merry Christmas! This is Sister Mary Arlene-Christmas In Song By A Sister Of St. Dominic (St. Dominic, Amityville, LI, NY, Adrian Associates LP-102, Mono).  Alternate cover down below. Oh, forgot to mention, I re-encoded this one for you, so the sound should be a little less compressed than before.

1. Adeste Fideles
2. Silver Bells
3. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
4. Winter Wonderland
5. Villancico Yaucano
6. Puer Natus In Bethlehem (A Boy Is Born In Bethlehem)
7. Resonet In Laudibus
8. Silent Night (Noche De Paz)
9. Christmas Was Meant For Children
10. Alegria, Alegria, Alegria
11. White Christmas
12. O Holy Night

  1. And a very Merry Christmas to you too. May it be a day full of whatever means the most for you when it comes to Christmas. For me, it's balanced between the spiritual and the secular.

  2. I actually have an aunt Mary that got stuck marrying a guy with the last name of Christmas and had trouble with her bank because they didn't believe that was her real name (after she got married)...

Merry Christmas to Ernie...Buster and Lee as well as the faithful ones that visit their sites for the wonderful Christmas music (and very few that might make you want to play to get rid of unwanted house guests)...

  3. Merry Christmas, Ernie, Santa and Kwork!

  4. CHRISTMAS GREETINGS!
I used to have this LP in the reissue and used to refer to it as Christmas in Amityville. I'm curious as to what prompted them to go from the humble anonymity of the original pressing to the full-on "celebrity" name credit of the reissue.
