Super Saturday, Armed Forces Version 6

We're up to 1972 now, back when I has a small toddler wandering around and bumping into furniture. Those were the days. Little did I know how complex life was going to become once I was wearing big boy pants. The guest stars seem to be getting bigger now. Johnny Mathis was pretty huge at the time and our two country artists weren't slouches on the charts. I don't think either Jim Ed Brown or Dottie West recorded Christmas albums on their own, though I think they put out some singles. Everything here by those two was recorded just for this LP. The Johnny Mathis selections I think were pulled straight from his Christmas records, so the interview bits are the real draw here. Just for you, this is Christmas At Home (The Directorate Of Advertising, HQ USAF Recruiting Service, No Number, Stereo, 1972). I appear to have shared this out back in 2018 though I could swear it was earlier.

2. Johnny Mathis With Roger Carroll-Christmas With Johnny Mathis: The First Noel; Silver Bells; I'll Be Home For Christmas; The Christmas Song; Silent Night
