Super Saturday, Armed Forces Version 12
We conclude our broadcast day with a record from the US Coast Guard. I think they're the only branch of the military that's charged with a peacetime mission, they protect our coast. I think it times of war they come under the jurisdiction of the Navy, but otherwise they're not a military organization, or something like that. They can do things that would otherwise be considered an act of war. It's all a little fuzzy and above my head, and not really germane to this post. This is The US Coast Guard Band-The Musical Sounds Of The Season (The United States Coast Guard KM 6993, Stereo). I feel like this is another one of those digital recordings where there are very quiet and very loud parts that aren't quite balanced out. Be prepared to do a lot of adjusting with your volume control. Hope you enjoyed today's military Christmas records. There are a lot more in the archives, take a look around with a few key words and you'll be surprised how many you can find. It's all good stuff.
