More Music In Boxes

May as well throw this one up while I'm at it.  More music boxes for Christmas, this time from me trying to get all the Christmas albums from the early years of Warner Bros.  Still trying to complete that collection. Also first posted in 2008, this is The Sounds Of Christmas-The Wonderful World Of The Music Box, Bells And Chimes (Warner Bros. WS 1238, Stereo, 1958).  Great cover though, don'tcha think?

1. Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
2. The First Noel
3. Jolly Old St. Nicolas
4. Away In A Manger
5. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
6. O Christmas Tree
7. O Come All Ye Faithful
8. Silent Night
9. Joy To The World
10. I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day
11. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
12. It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
13. Deck The Halls With Boughs Of Holly
14. Jingle Bells
15. Winter Wonderland
16. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
17. White Christmas

Yippee, Ernie. One of my favorites of them all, and the loveliest music box music of Christmas. The only other Warner Bros album I can think of (besides the guitar one which I acquired at Amazon) is the Gene Lowell (?) I think. Other than that, you have reposted the entire collection in fine condition. We will enjoy them for many years to come. All good Christmas wishes,

!ggy

Thank you, Ernie -- I'm not sure how I missed this, but I really appreciate the pointer -- I have to admit, that cover art is what drew me in, love it so much. Looking forward to listening, at last! I host an annual Christmas show on my local radio station (did it just last night, actually) and I'm hoping to use some of this as padding betwixt the song blocks for next year. :) Merry Holidays to you, and thanks for all of the work you do!! :)
