Mathé et André

Let's stay in Canada just a little bit longer and enjoy some French-Canadian Christmas music. Here's a good split LP from two vocalists. This is Un Noël Blanc Avec Mathé Altéry Et André Claveau (Monitor MFS 443, Stereo). I think this is actually an American release, and the artists may be French, but for some reason I have it in my head that it was created for the French Canadian market. I could be way off base on that though, I've been wrong before.

  1. Second Hand Songs says that "Mathé Altéry" is from France, and that "André Claveau" was from France. But the album most likely was release for the French Canadien market :)

  2. It may have been marketed to the Francophone market, but Monitor was an American label and the notes are in English, so I wonder.
