The Center Of NYC


According to what I just read, this statue of Christopher Columbus, located in Columbus Circle, is considered to be the exact center of New York City. All distances from New York City to other points are computed from right here. If I'd known it was that important, I would have walked around to the other side and gotten a picture of his face.
