Night Of The Hunter

Last record for the night, I think. I'm tired, and Christmas is coming up fast. Perhaps I should do some shopping. This is a typical college band album that you've seen plenty of here and at your local thrift store. The difference here is the involvement of Frank Hunter, a well-known artist in his own right with a string of space-age pop classics under his belt. Not sure if you can hear any of that influence here, but his picture is right there on the back cover. Give these tracks a listen and see if you can spot any influence I missed. This is University Of Michigan School Of Music-Christmas On Campus (The University Of Michigan Records SM-0001, Stereo, 1974).

  1. Wow, 10 new albums, for me to see... after I got home from work, had supper, rested, and shovelled the snow... I came in and 10 downloads. You are amazing, Ernie :)

    1. I'm trying to make each week a little better than the last. :) Nobody pays attention to what gets shared out after Christmas, so the more I get out there before, the better. (Though there will still be music after Christmas, don't get me wrong...)

  2. I hear yah, Ernie. Until March or so... I keep a regular look on what you are possibly posting. After that Easter happens, so in our house... we celebrate Christmas until the end of February or so... whenever Ash Wednesday happens :) This year, I started listening to Christmas music, the beginning of November, but we just started decorating the house tonight (December 19)... We take the tree around the time of Ash Wednesday :)

    1. I'm playing with Christmas music year-round, though not strictly listening to it. Just looking for records, recording the odd one here and there. :)
