Christmas In The Caribbean One
If you're tired of the winter weather already, maybe you need to take a little island vacation. These next two shares will give you a little blast of island life in the Caribbean, hopefully enough to warm you up so you can make it to Christmas. First is this record from Bermuda. In all the years I've been sharing Christmas with you from all around the world, I can't think of any visits to Bermuda. Of course I could be wrong and someone will post a link to prove it, but I'm sticking to my story until proven otherwise. This is The Choral Poincianas-Bermuda Christmas With The Choral Poincianas (Har-Fo (Bermuda) HAR-412, Stereo). Just a quick note to point out a pun you may be missing in the group's name. The back cover features a picture of the group standing in front of a tall tree with vibrant red blossoms. That tree is called a Royal Poinciana, and the group is called The Choral Poincianas. Get it?

I don't know about the winter weather where you are, but here in Colorado Springs CO, it's been in the 50s and 60s (F) the last couple days. We got snow last Wednesday night and it's 64 (F) here at 11:30 AM. Crazy yo-yo weather is the norm here.
ReplyDeleteHuh. Pretty close to the same temp here in Florida, but we just had a cold front come through. It'll be back in the 80's before the weekend. I'll add Colorado Springs to the visitor map! :)
DeleteIt's kinda funny how we here in the city miss a lot of the worst weather. Pike's Peak seems to shove the snow to the north and the worst cold to the south. People hear that there's X inches of snow in Colorado, but that's usually Denver. They'll get a foot there but here, nothing. Not what I expected when I moved here.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I figured the whole state was snowed in from the end of our hurricane season until the beginning of next hurricane season. :)
