Something in there for everyone, and all of it stands up to repeat listens. This is the best I have to offer, so download it and give it a listen. This is The Very Best Of Christmas In July From Ernie (Not Bert) 2018!
PS-This isn't my best cover ever, but I needed a Christmas picture and happened to remember this. It's from a small Christmas shop inside what may be the kitschiest tourist trap in all of South Florida, The Shell Factory. Located in North Ft. Myers, it's full of weird little roadside attractions that probably haven't changed since 1952, including a Christmas store where I found this TV tableau. If I'd known I was going to use it for a cover, I think I would have composed the picture a little better.
Ernie! Dude! Man! I could just fill up a USB with your Best Of collections and be set! Every time I get one together and make copies to go in the cars, you post another one! I can't keep up!
ReplyDeleteSuper-magnitude stratospheric THANKS for sharing! You make the summer great!
Thanks. Hope you enjoy it. It's a labor of love. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to work with Joe Berlingeri's daughter. I probably told you that back in 2018. Anyway, thanks for this this excellent compilation!
ReplyDeleteI believe you told me that you transferred his LP to digital for her. A nice reminder that all these albums were made by real people, and many of them or their families are still out there somewhere.
ReplyDeleteWOW, all these best of in July comps are amazing. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm kind of partial to them myself. :)
ReplyDeleteI was in the store this weekend where I shot that cover image a few years ago. They must have sold the TV because I couldn't find it in there. It's legacy will live on in my compilation. :)
