2022 At 78 RPM-New Year's Special

The year is about to draw to a close and so is this long series of 78s from The Internet Archive. But before we reach the end, I've got a special collection of songs that might be appropriate for New Year's Eve listening. It's a big pile of Auld Lang Syne versions, as well as plenty of What Are You Doing New Year's Eve. There's an extra heavy dollop of songs about midnight, and a few songs that are probably about something else entirely, but I thought the titles at least were appropriate for the time. The songs about midnight allowed me to do a pretty deep dive into the Blues and R&B, some genres that aren't too well represented the rest of the year, though they do pop up from time to time. If you listen to the whole collection at once, it may turn out to be a bit of a downer, so I suggest listening in small doses here and there so you can keep your mood up.
