Christmas In July 2020-30

Wow, part 30!  That's a lot of Christmas music!  Well, maybe not as much as last year, but more if I add in the Nutcracker Suites. I think that's fair, don't you?  Anyhow, it's been a rough week, and once again I'm just throwing up a share without telling you what's in it. I appreciate those of you've been willing to download the music with no idea what's in the package, and especially those who then listen to it and comment.  Makes my job easier when I know folks are listening.  Hopefully this weekend I can get caught up a little and go back to fill in some of these blanks. I will go ahead and mention that there are 16 tracks in the download tonight. Two of them kind of go together, and I probably could have shared them as a single track, but I chose to split it into two.  It's all good stuff, don't worry.  See you tomorrow for more!

Update-25 July 2020-I'm adding in the tracklist as exported and reformatted slightly. It's only a little faster than typing it all in, and you don't get my metacommentary on all the tracks, which may be a good thing.  But at least the info is there for the search engines.

  1. Just amazing production, with or without documentation!

  2. Thanks, but the documentation is important. Otherwise it all disappears into the background noise of the internet and no one will ever find it.

  3. Ernie, Once again your Christmas In July is outstanding. It takes me a whole year to catalog everything but I'm not complaining.

I have a request if you have time - last year on December 7, 2019, you posted The Story Of Christmas In Carols (original pressing). I was going to make a CD of that for some friends and noticed that the song "X. He Is Born - La Chorale du Lycee Francais de New York, Sylvia Durieux, Conducting" was omitted and I was wondering if you could include it in one of the remaining Christmas In July posts. I have looked everywhere for it on the internet but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

Thanks again for all the work you do to put this together for us Christmas music fanatics.

  4. Huh. Track 14 is missing from my MP3 archive, and from the download. I'll have to take a look in the folder at home that has the original rips in it. Could be that the track was messed up and I couldn't get a record of it, but I usually mention that in the post. I'll try to take a look tonight.

  7. There were a few great piano tracks on this one and I also really liked Ten Little Jingle Bells.

  8. I liked Ten Little Jingle Bells, too, but was disappointed that they only included, what, three of the bells? I believe they even mentioned that in the lyric sheet, saying they didn't have space for the other seven. Too bad, now we'll never know what happened to those bells, they're just lost to history.
