Christmas In July 2022-Part 6

 Part six, coming right up!

1. The Sun Valley Trio perform It Happened In Sun Valley from their EP The Sun Valley Trio (Diversion 7" 45 RPM DX-1-56, Mono, 1956). Another rare selection from a small record with a big hole.

2. The Meddiebempsters perform Winter Wonderland from The Meddies (A Bowdoin-On-The Air Recording 10" 33 RPM F8-OL-8457/8458, Mono, 1958). A not quite so rare selection from a 10" slab of vinyl.

3. Jane Morgan-Arranged And Conducted By Charles Albertine, performing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas from the not-quite soundtrack LP Jane Morgan Serenades The Victors (Colpix SCP 460, Stereo, 1963). A rerun, but I finally found it in stereo. This is the sort of thing that got me into collecting these Christmas songs from non-Christmas records. Who's ever heard this in the past 50 years?

4. An unknown artist performs Jingle Bells from Song Favorites (Classroom Materials Company CM 1148, Mono). Interesting duet version with a banjo!

5. The Choir Of The First Presbyterian Church Of Dearborn, Alexander J. Turco-Organist And Director, perform Carol Of The Advent from Carols And Anthems (No Label H-1496/1497, Mono, 1967). Another selection for you from this one.

And now for the production music section, which seems to get bigger every day...

6. Deck The Halls (Logo) B from Trendsetter Volume A Disc 13 (Willaim B. Tanner Company TRS V-A Disc 13, Stereo).

7. Christmas Mellow from Trendsetter Volume A Disc 6 (William B. Tanner Company TRS Vol A Disc 6, Stereo).

8. Mid-Winter Sale-Intro from New TTS Production Music Tracks #3317 (William B. Tanner Company 3317, Stereo).

9. Pre-Holiday Sale-Intro from New TTS Production Music Tracks #3425 (William B. Tanner Company 3425, Stereo).

10. Gifts Of Love From Far And Near-Instrumental from The Great Christmas And Special Events Production Library-Disc 7 (Airforce Broadcast Services Disc 7, Stereo, 1984).

And that's it. Hope you can find something you like. I dunno about you, but I love these little bits of production music. But then I love everything, so that's not saying much. Enjoy!
