Christmas In July 2022-Part 5

 Ready for another batch of fun Christmas music? Me too!

1. Alleluia, Sing With New Psalms by University Of Miami Concert Choir Under The Direction Of Donald Oglesby, Ricky Hardy-Organist, Pianist, Soloist-Skip Sanders, from the LP Alleluia-Sing With New Songs (World Library Publications 7912 (Side 2: Christmas), Stereo, 1981). You might notice the credits are odd on this one. I listed the writer as the album artist. I wouldn't normally do something like that, but his name was the big one on the cover. I think the concert choir were just hired guns to perform the pieces.

2. Winter Wonderland by Guy Lombardo And His Royal Canadians-Vocal By Kenny Gardner from Guy Lombardo In Hi-Fi (Capitol (Canada) W738, Mono, 1956). A rerun, but a good 'un!

3. Nuit De Decembre by Ensemble Gerard Hever from the little record Paddock Rag Vol. 2 7" 45 RPM (Le Kiosque d'Orphée (France) 7" 45 RPM KO/08.0708, Stereo, 1978). A rare appearance from a 7" 45 around here at Christmas in July.

4. Christmas Time-Edit by Redd Foxx from Laff Of The Party-Volume 2 (Dooto DTL-219, Mono, 1956). I've picked up a lot of Redd Foxx albums looking for Christmas content, and I finally found this!

5. Go Tell It On The Mountain by The Weavers from The Weavers On Tour (Vanguard VSD-6537, Electronically Re-Recorded To Simulate Stereo, 1969). Shame that these guys were blackballed for all those years.

6. We Three Kings (Logo) from Trendsetter Volume A Disc 13 (William B. Tanner Company TRS V-A Disc 13, Stereo). The first bit of production music for the day.

7. Orchestrated Pattern (Christmas) (The First Noel) from Trendsetter Volume A Disc 31-Wild Work Parts (Media General TRS V-A/D-31, Stereo). The second bit.

8. Snowfall Magic from Trendsetter Volume A Disc 6 (William B. Tanner Company TRS Vol A Disc 6, Stereo). Third bit.

9. Mid-Winter Sale-Donut from New TTS Production Music Tracks #3317 (William B. Tanner Company 3317, Stereo). Fourth Bit.

10. We're The Center Of Everything This Christmas-Instrumental from The Great Christmas And Special Events Production Library-Disc 7 (Airforce Broadcast Services Disc 7, Stereo, 1984). Fifth and final bit.
