Boy, was I excited when I discovered this! This is the very first Christmas single ever issued by the then-new Warner Brothers label way back in 1958. Jumping on the kiddie-vocal bandwagon, they found the worst sounding kid they could and wrote a song just for him about Santa and trains, something I think Spike Jones had already done. I suspect that by '58, the kiddie vocal trend had just about run it's course, and it shows here. I doubt if you'll listen this one twice. That's probably the reason it's remained so obscure to this day, but I couldn't let sleeping dogs lie. I had hoped for so much more... Anyhow, this is
