An Alcoholic Christmas
I know it's a treasured Christmas tradition in many families to have some hard eggnog during the season, or maybe some whiskey while sitting in front of the fire and the tree, but not in our household. We're all teetotalers and don't really need the alcohol to make the season merry or bright. But I know many people do, and this post is for you. From the fine folks who import Drambuie, this is Dennis Burnside, Don Jackson & Mat Morse-Drambuie Christmas Classics (No Label 2043, Stereo, 1990). 1990 is an awful late date for me to share something around these parts, but I didn't realize this was released that late until I was pretty far along in the process. Feels like that was really late in the LP game too, I wouldn't be surprised if this exists on CD somewhere out there in the world. And that long list of artists should probably be split into individuals doing different tracks, but the credits on the back of the LP were pretty scant. We were lucky to get any names at all. Who knows if the groups they were leading even had names. Just a bunch of studio musicians most likely.

Thank you, I also grew up in a teetotaler family, but I downloaded this album back in 2011 or so, but of course... I can't remember from though ;)
