To finally wrap up this Christmas trip around the world, we stay in the South Pacific and head over to Hawaii for a couple of singles. The Alfred Apaka is a new rip of something I shared out back in

I posted Genoa Keawe's New Year's record a few years ago. The 49th State Record Company is interesting because Hawaii is actually the 50th state. The 49th State name was apparently invented in an excess of Hawaiian postwar optimism about statehood.
