Tammy & Heidi

One type of record I like to share is music made for kids, and I see a lot of them.  They are usually beat up, and unplayable, and most of them are yard sale staples.  But the two you see here were in relatively good shape, and were both things I had never seen before. (I think the similarities run deeper than that, since they seem to share a label address... )  I first brought you Tammy in 2010 and Heidi in 2008, but they're back for an encore tonight.  First up, here's Tammy-Merry Christmas With Tammy (Little World Records (Ideal Toy Corp., Midnight Music) LW-906, Mono, 1965).

1. Intro
2. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
3. O Christmas Tree
4. Deck The Halls
5. Silent Night
6. Winter Wonderland
7. Joy To The World
8. Greensleeves
9. Hark The Herald Angels Sing
10. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
11. O Come All Ye Faithful
12. Jingle Bells
13. The Story Of The Night Before Christmas-With Pepper!
14. We Wish You A Merry Christmas

And here is Heidi-The Night Before Christmas (Majorette M-304, Mono, 1965).  Funny, I just got a request to reshare out one of these last night, but I had it in the bank already.  I love it when I plan comes together.

3. Silent Night
4. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
5. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus
6. O Christmas Tree

  1. Ernie, you seem to have a knack for digging up the offbeat, the obscure. I've been trying to find a digital copy of a novelty song from my childhood. Took me years to determine it's "Jill-fingle Bell-fells" by the Honeydreamers.

This little snip is all I could find online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bSUorbEMdA

    Sure hope you can help!

Thanks to CaptOT, he put it on his CD last year, that's where I knew of it.
