Super Saturday Salvation 23

OK, this is the end of our Super Saturday Salvation Army celebration today. The very last record I have for you is only sort of tangentially related to The Salvation Army in that they were a benefactor of the release. I'm sure I put this in the Salvation Army pile years ago because I saw that logo, then didn't think anything more about it for years until I pulled it out this season with all the rest of them. I believe the main sponsor of this record was a grocery store in Mississippi called Jitney Jungle. Interesting name for a grocery store, but whatever gets the customers in the door. Lots of local artists here, but I think Dorothy Moore was a known name in certain blues circles. I believe her contribution here is unique in her catalog, so enjoy that.
