Super Saturday Salvation 6
Number six on December 6th at six am. Gotta be something special about that, but I don't know what it is. Our sixth share of the day comes from 1973 and the guest artist is Mike Connors, Mannix himself. Go give a listen to The Angels Sing (Army Of Stars, The Salvation Army, Western Territory, Public Relations Department, Quadraphonic, 1973). Is this the first entry in the series that was in quad? I think it is. I have no way of decoding that on my little setup, but if anyone out there can decode and listen to this, I'd be curious to hear if the process survives the FLAC compression. Is there anything interesting going on in the back channels? I kinda doubt it, the music is not the most exciting part of any of these releases. It's quite competent, but it's not my style.
