28-Winter Songs

OK, the calendar tells me that today is the first day of Winter here in the northern hemisphere, so that means I'm going to share with you a big batch of songs about Winter, all courtesy of The Internet Archive. This is a really big batch because I was able to find a lot of songs about the season, most of which will slide right into your holiday playlists with no problem what-so-ever. Hopefully this is another good mix of familiar songs by unfamiliar artists and songs that are new to you. I know I hadn't heard a lot of these before I found them at the Archive. Enjoy this deep dip, and let me know what your favorites are in the comments!

What a nice group of songs today, especially love the 4 freshmen - always a great one - art money and winter (also love the spike jones version - that's fun) and vintage Debbie - love her early stuff for sure - yeah for this group! Thanks so much - Mac

Songs about winter are even better than songs about sleighs and sleighrides. Too many new favorites to mention among these. But I guess I have a preference for the somewhat sentimental, longing songs that gets me in a daydream-like, nostalgic mood. Thanks!

Thanks all! This was one of the first collections that popped into my head as I was looking for ways to group my shares this year. Glad it worked out so well. :)
