Re-Waring Re-Mastered

I'm a little hesitant to put this one out there because I can't believe that it's not available somewhere in some format, be it CD or download.  But I can't find it if it is.  This is probably one of the most popular Christmas records in the US (and certainly the second-most requested one here at the blog), as evidenced by it's presence in pretty much every thrift store I duck into, and usually in a rough shape that indicates a long and much used life.  I first shared this out in 2005 and I've brought it back several times since in both that original rip and a remaster, but I went ahead and ripped another copy last night just for fun, so I think it sounds pretty good.  If you don't have it already, please go ahead and grab a copy of Fred Waring And The Pennsylvanians-'Twas The Night Before Christmas (Decca DL 8171, Mono, 1955)

1. Jingle Bells
2. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
3. Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
4. 'Twas The Night Before Christmas
5. Adeste Fideles (O, Come All Ye Faithful)
6. Beautiful Savior
7. The First Nowell; O, Little Town Of Bethlehem; Carol Of The Bells
8. Cantique De Noel (O Holy Night)
9. Oh Gathering Clouds
10. Silent Night

  3. Being a huge Fred fan who lost much in a crash, I'll definitely grab and comment. Thank you very very much! Like you, I'm shocked this isn't more readily available.
Out of curiosity, which is the number one most requested title here?

  4. Everybody wants The Voices Of Walter Schuman-The Voices Of Christmas. It was out on CD a while back, and I'm pretty sure it will be again, knowing the folks at Real Gone, so I won't share it out.

  5. I was reindexing my Christmas mp3 collection and feeling nostalgic about Ernie's wonderful and quaint Christmas LP rips, since I hadn't been by for about 4 years. So on a whim I wandered over here and lo and behold you're still giving the world some joy. Thanks for more Fred!
