August (Not December)

Here's something a little bit outside of the norm around here, but I like to keep you on your toes. This is a bit of choral music for your Christmas listening tonight. I'm sure some of you will really dig this, others, not so much.  I think it makes a nice change of pace when you've got the whole collection on random.  Download it, you might like it.  This is The Augustana Choir-Henry Veld, Director-Christmas Music By The Augustana Choir (RCA Camden CAS-638, Stereo, 1960).

1. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
2. What Child Is This? (Greensleeves)
3. Silent Night
4. Angels We Have Heard On High
5. The Fairest Of Roses
6. Away In A Manger
7. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
8. In The Bleak Midwinter
9. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
10. Come To The Manger
11. The Coventry Carol
12. What Can This Mean
13. The Blessed Birth
14. How Brightly Beams The Morning Star
15. Selection From A Ceremony Of Carols

  4. My dad went to Augustana, he loved Christmas-he was the guy who went wild with the decorations-we had Christmas music playing outside in the mid 60's, he's no longer around. Thanks for this.
