64-Scoop Eleven

Another day, another scoop. I keep saying we're almost to the end around here, but then I find a couple more things and the season keeps going. But I can't do that indefinitely, so the end is coming. Not tomorrow or the day after that, but soon.  I've spent many a waking hour working on this stuff since Thanksgiving, and I'm going to need to step away from the computer and spend some quality time looking at something other than a computer screen for a while.  But it's fun while it lasts.  The selections today are, as always, downloaded from the Internet Archive and tweaked by me, and they're another batch of interesting stuff. If you've been here since the beginning of the season, it's just more of the same goodies from 78's. If you're new around here, it's kinda hard to explain, you'll need to go back to the beginning and start from there.  If that's too much work, just download it and listen.

  1. Because of personal things going on in my life I have not written to thank you for all your hard work.. But I wanted to let you know that your work has not gone unnoticed and to thank you for all the tunes. I've down loaded them and will be enjoying them and playing all of them as soon as possible.

  5. I recognized the name of Jan Miner (Elsie) because she played the character of Madge the Manicurist in the Palmolive dishwashing liquid commercials on TV, beginning in the 1960s. I didn't know she'd provided Elsie's voice, as well. Thanks for sharing!
