The Best Of 2007 Christmas In July


Well, it's been a long wait, but I hope it was worth it. This is the collection you've been waiting for since August 1st, or at least since last week when I pointed you toward the 2006 best-of collection. This collection features many of the very best tracks from the shares I threw up in July of this year. If you're not familiar with Christmas In July around here, let me explain a little. I find Christmas songs, or songs that have a holiday or winter feel about them, in the middle of otherwise non-Christmas albums. Then I gather up all these tracks and share them out in July, a few a day for the whole month. It usually winds up being a little over 100 songs, and it makes for a great collection of songs you wouldn't ordinarily get to hear at Christmas. (Oh, the version of Blue Holiday by Andre Previn and David Rose included above is from a different LP than the one I shared originally, which was only credited to Andre Previn. I don't think it's a different recording, I just wanted to get yet another name in there.)
