The Mick Two
Here's another good one from Paul Mickelson, and it's very different from the last one. This time he's leading an orchestra and a choir. Perhaps that will be of more interest to you than the solo organ on the last one. Give it a listen and see what you think. This is The Paul Mickelson Choir & Orchestra-The Best Of Christmas (Supreme Productions SLP-403, Mono).

Well, I had a bit of trouble with this one. I kept getting "Path too long" for the first track when I tried to unzip it so I grabbed "7Zip", as Buster recommended and was able to unzip the file but 7Zip put the file somewhere that was kinda hard to find. I did find it eventually though. Now I have to go buy a bunch of blank CDs to finish this season up. Thanks for all of it, Ernie! Thanks for your help too, Buster!
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to get it straightened out!
DeleteHmmm, is this record the same as this earlier one he released on RCA Victor? Tracklist is the same, but I need to compare the recordings.

I don't think it is the same recording. The times are similar, but the waveforms don't look the same. I think they are new recordings with similar arrangements.
