36-Ski Ride Polka

The holidays are over, but the fun continues. Today we're going skiing with a double handful of songs all about the winter sport that seems to involve a lot of falling down. 1. Nice selection!

Say, didn't Bob Gibson do a whole ski-themed album?

    1. Hey Buster, yes, Bob did release a full LP of this stuff. I have a mono copy but I don't think I've ever scored a stereo copy of it. Nice cover photo of him with a broken leg, but the dog is getting all the ski bunny affection.

  2. Thanks Ernie. Love this tune by The Tune Rockers more than the A-side. Mosquito's and I don't get along quite well ;-)

    1. It occurred to me later that Warm Up probably meant getting ready to perform, but I'm always thinking of Christmas-related titles so that's not how I interpreted it. :)

  3. Nice set Ernie! Like the Les Paul, and it was nice to mix in the warming songs. Agree the Tune Rockers track is excellent. If I ever tried skiing, I'd be more like super skier.

    1. Talk skiing like a man, but never hit the slopes! That's a good motto to live by. :)
