19-Santa Songs

The theme of the day is the big man himself, Santa Claus!  Lots and lots of really good songs about Santa Claus, in all his many guises. Some of these are familiar, some of them are seldom if ever heard, but they are all good, and all of them are sourced from the vast collection of The Internet Archive.  Really, head on over there and poke around, you'll probably find a bunch of stuff that you've never heard before. Go ahead, I'll wait... OK, if you've made it back, go ahead and download this neato collection of Santa songs, and give it a listen.  It's good stuff.

    A lengthy and very interesting collection - R&B, a yodeller, pop, etc. Nice job! Santa is proud, I'm sure.

    Hey Ernie. It's me, very late to the game again as usual! But I thoroughly love your concept this year, it's even more fabulous than usual. I'm a big fan of the Internet Archive, and whenever I go there to visit, I spend much more time than i thought I would and I end up with many awesome downloads of absolutely terrific sounds. Thanks so much for doing the hard work and pulling out all these gems for our Christmas entertainment.

    Thanks all! The Internet Archive is a great resource, and I'm happy to share my finds with you this season. My only regret is that I'm using up all the best stuff from over there, so I won't be able to do this again next year. :)

    Whatever led you to suspect that "Gwiazdor" by Mad Man Michaels was a Christmas record? Was it tagged as such?

    Yes, I think so, either that or the flip side was tagged as such. It's a great record, isn't it? I'd love to dig up the 45!
