Weekly Feedback
Well, it's been a week since we got this party started, how you doin' out there? Having any fun? Too early to say? How about favorites, you heard anything you can't believe you lived without all this time? Any questions? Just opening up the floor here. :)
Ernie, it's been wonderful already. Some of these, I recall from earlier shares. I'm digging the upgrade versions and enjoying the new ones.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to have Carol Channing. Every year, I try to put in my compilations celebrities who have left us this year. I had nothing from her. Now I do, and I have a proper end to my mix. Thank you, Ernie!

ReplyDeleteLoving what you've put together so far. It's solved the perennial problem of what to open the presents to.
ReplyDeleteTaking this brief intermission between gorging myself on all this holiday fare to thank you for all these wonderful shares! Sorry I don't stop and say "Thanks" more often but I normally can't keep up with my Feedly and just click away. Needless to say I haven't actually listened to any of these albums (yet!) but it warms my belly just to know I have them secreted away in the Library! THANKS ERNIE!!! You are a big part of the Holiday season for me!!
ReplyDeleteErnie, the upgrades are appreciated for sure. The new shares are great. Lots of travel this week, so I checked before leaving the hotel and after dinner each day. Loved what was 'under the tree' each time. 'ppreciate you, Ernie.
ReplyDeleteGreat start to the season! A fierce winter storm hit us over a few days this week, and it was a pleasure to sip a cuppa and watch the weather whilst listening to new Xmas shares from long ago. We got off the 'Shopping Train' a few years ago and now seek to savor the memories and good fellowship that the season may bring. Hope you and your family are able to do the same!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your efforts! My family and I really enjoy listening to the music you share!
ReplyDeleteErnie,
ReplyDeleteI haven't chimed in yet, but I should have. Thank you for all these wonderful upgrades of recent years. I've been tuned in since 2007, and it's wonderful to see that you remain active where almost all the other blogs have passed on or no longer make things shareable. Checking in with Ernie daily is part of what makes my December, so I hope you continue for many more years. Many thanks to you again.
Randy
Great work, as always, thanks so much! Too early to tell for me, but still reading, downloading, and occasionally listening. The season is here.....
ReplyDeleteErnie--I'm enjoying the variety of music you're sharing. I have a small collection of Christmas vinyl (mostly from Goodwill stores), and I especially enjoy stuff from the 60's-70's. Thank you so much for doing this! --Dave from Maryland
ReplyDeleteLovin' the upgrades and the stuff I don't have.
ReplyDeleteEvery day a new treat!
Love, love, love all of your posts, Ernie. I live for Christmas music. Any Firestone albums in the mix? Pretty please?! Keep up the good work. It's greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI hope one day you find the two Crown Records Christmas albums, the one with the Mexicali Brass and the other featuring the 1001 Strings. Both were studio groups with names similar to, but not quite those of more famous ensembles.
ReplyDeleteHi Ernie, every year I hope hope hope you're in for another round - I'm delighted to see your new posts this 2019. Though you have shared many of these records before, through your new posts I regularly discover interesting new finds to add to my collection. Thank you for your dedication and generosity!
ReplyDeleteErnie, Your work enhances the season for me, and I think many more who don't say so. You are a gift greater than you know. THANK YOU. I hope your joy in the work continues as it brings joy. Merry merry!!!
ReplyDeleteErnie,
