An Olde World Christmas

For a while I thought this was a part of the same series of records as the two PX records I shared with you recently, but it turns out there is no indication on the sleeve that this is true.  The label is the same, the sleeve style is the same, the music selection is similar, but I can find nothing that ties it in with the post exchange.  But I went ahead and ripped it anyway, and I'm sharing it here as part of the Christmas around the world collection.  Unlike the other two, this one is in stereo, so the selections are a little newer and the sound is a little nice.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much even without the interesting history.  This is Christmas In The Old World (Philips (Holland) 850 010 PY, Stereo, 1960).

  1. Thanks for posting this. It's my brother's favorite Christmas album, and our copy got damaged many years ago in a move. The sound is beautiful. I'm glad to pass it along to him.
