Au Temps Des Fetes
Let's continue on with the Canadian records today, going back to the French side of the country with this selection. This is not your typical American Christmas music, but it sure is infectious fun. You'll be stomping your feet and carrying on like nobody's business before you know it. This is Roland Lebrun Et Sa Famille-Au Temps Des Fetes (Carnaval (Canada) CS-529, Stereo, 1969). By the way, I checked and we're not quite at the two month mark. Thanksgiving was late this year so we didn't start sharing until November 27th. We've still got a few days before we get to that two-month point. Stay tuned, we're almost there.

I’m here for this kind of infectious!
ReplyDeleteHmm, the Reply button doesn't seem to be working at the moment. I wonder if that's my laptop or browser or some issue at Blogger? Anyhow, I wanted to say that maybe I shouldn't have used the word infectious since we're only a few years past the age of Covid...
ReplyDeleteThe reply function is a Blogger issue. Same thing at my place. What won't they break next!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, that's quite the 70s scene on the cover. Roland ought to be careful he doesn't roast his knee.
I can't click the 'Add Comment' button either. Hopefully they're working on it and haven't added some crazy new option without telling anyone...
ReplyDeleteYou're all about the Health & Safety. Looks to me like both guys are going to have their pants on fire here shortly.
The reply button is back! Well, at least it is on my phone. Need to test it on a PC.
ReplyDeleteBon Temps. -Organ
ReplyDeleteMerci, I think... :)
DeleteHope I'm not being stereotypical here, but Roland definetly sounds like what I think of when I hear the term, "French Canadian" :) Sounds very likable :)
ReplyDeleteMost stereotypes have a basis in truth, good or bad. Not always though...
